JAMES E. MAHONEY does trial and appellate work in State and Federal courts. He received a B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago in 1974 and a J.D. magna cum laude from Indiana University in 1978. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Illinois and Indiana, as well as several Federal district and appellate courts. Before moving to Chicago, he practiced for several years with a multi-city firm based in Indianapolis, where he concentrated on complex corporate and business litigation, with an emphasis on motion practice and appellate work. He is experienced in all phases of litigation from initial pleadings through discovery, trial and appeal. He is a member of the Illinois, Indiana, Seventh Circuit and Chicago Bar Associations and the Atticus Finch Inn of Court.
